Even kort door de bocht: als je zelf geen conclusie kan trekken uit dit rapport, dan zou ik het zo laten. De issues wegwerken, hangt van je ervaringsniveau af.

EtreCheck zegt het netjes. Ik vertaal het even in, dat er oude meuk op je iMac staat, die er af kan (neemt alleen wat ruimte in op de hardeschijf). Daarnaast zijn er veel (niet noodzakelijke) utilities geinstalleerd, die problemen kunnen gaan opleveren met de goede werking van je iMac. Welke dit zijn weet ik niet, omdat het rapport verder niet aanwezig is.

Dus nu geen paniek verder.

1: Er is geen Time Machine backup gevonden. Dat betekent zoiets als "de schijf waar het naar toe gezet wordt is niet gekoppeld of gemount.

2: Weesbestanden die je zou kunnen opruimen. Waarschijnlijk restantjes van programma's die je ooit geïnstalleerd en verwijderd hebt. Meestal laten die een .PLIST bestand achter. Die heeft doorgaans geen invloed op je systeem anders dan dat ze een paar kb per stuk innemen.

3: Systeem modificaties zijn niet zo heel spannend, dat wordt zelfs bij een nieuw systeem al gemeld.

Je bent zeker nog drie jaar veilig op gebied van security updates.
Ik denk dat het systeem van volgend jaar de iMac Pro niet meer zal ondersteunen, maar dan kun je nog twee jaar verder met Sonoma.
