Hoi,

Sedert de laatste update van OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 merk ik plots iets op ...

Wanneer ik in mijn inlogscherm en/of wil uitloggen, dan staat de tekst gedeeltelijk in het Nederlands en gedeeltelijk in het Engels.

Als taalinstellingen heb ik enkel het Nederlands staan (ook het toetsenbord)

Er staat bv:

"Are you sure you want to shutdown your computer now?
Als u niets doet, wordt de computer over xx sec automatisch uitgeschakeld.
Reopen windows when logging back in"

Weet iemand hoe dit op te lossen of hoe dit komt?

Misschien eens proberen in Systeemvoorkeuren engels als voorkeurstaal te verwijderen, te herstarten en dan weer Engels toe te voegen.
Ik heb al vaker van die vreemde problemen van een verkeerde taal gelezen, en heb zelf op Apple Support een Engelse tekst met een stukje Nederlands opgemerkt.

Wat dat laatste was heb ik nooit achterhaald...

Ik zie het ook bij het afsluit scherm (shut down). Slordig.

En ik herhaal het nog eens: workaround usual suspect:
alle voorkeurstalen verwijderen, herstarten, en weer voorkeurstalen toevoegen.

En nog een vreemde EL Capitan maybe bug:

Als je een Nederlands systeem draait staat bij je voorkeurstalen misschien ook nog:
- Engels (UK)
- Engels (US)
- Engels (primair)

Sommige apps pikken onder El Cap enkel nog Engels (primair) om een Engels menu te krijgen.

Stuurt dat nieuwe onderscheid El Cap in de war?
De moeite om eens uit te zoeken.

Hi there!
I am having a very annoying problem with the language on the Finder sidebar, some folders like Applications, Downloads and Desktop are constantly changing from English to Spanish in a infinite loop, like 2 times per second. This is very, very, very annoying and stressful.

The first time something similar to this happened was in Yosemite, when I switched the language from Spanish to English (the mac was originally set in Spanish). Some finder windows opened at english and others at spanish. Since the only difference was a couple of folders in the sidebar I didn't bother to fix the problem (I am native to spanish, so isn't a big deal).

But now in El Capitan the bug just become exponential. Every Finder window keeps looping between both languages like crazy. I already check my preferences and I don't have any other language in the Language & Region except from English.

I really hope someone can help me with this problem or at least give me a clue.

had the same annoying issue ...

this solved it for me:
1) delete ~/Library/Preference/com.apple.finder.plist
2) goto to System Preferences > Language & Region
change primary Language to an other language (but not the current one, for me it was german)
3) restart mac
4) goto to System Preferences > Language & Region
this time change it back to the original language - which you want to use (for me it was english)
5) restart mac
