Ruim anderhalf jaar geleden kwam Apple met een grote update voor hun geluid-app Logic Pro. Dat was te zien doordat dat programma vanaf toen ook een X achter de naam kreeg en betekende onder andere 64-bits ondersteuning, een nieuwe interface en nog een heleboel ander nieuws. Meer daarover kan je lezen in dit eerdere nieuwsbericht van MacFreak.

Sindsdien zagen we veel updates, maar allemaal met versienummers in de 10.0.x serie, dus volgens Apple minder belangrijk. Inmiddels is het zover, en krijgt deze app - eindelijk- een update die volgens Apple versienummer 10.1 waard is.

Het lijkt voor de hand te liggen dat er in deze versie veel nieuwe en belangrijke dingen zitten, en dat is dan ook zo. Hieronder de hele lijst, waarin ons vooral de ondersteuning voor Mail Drop en AirDrop in Yosemite, de nieuwe effecten en nieuwe tools opvielen.

een fijne update! nu fcpx nog...de wishlist is nog erg lang

De lijst met wensen voor Logic is ook nog lang. Veel van deze wijzigingen zijn halve bug fixes (het werkt wel, maar niet zoals je zou verwachten). Er zijn ook leuke extra's. Ik vermoed dat die politiek zijn om de klagers tevreden te houden: zo af en toe wat extra's maakt het leuker voor sommigen, want er wordt heel wat afgemekkerd op de forums als er een paar weken lang geen update geweest is, zeker sinds het uitkomen van Cubase 8.
