Tim Cook heeft privacy niet alleen een centraal punt voor Apple gemaakt, hij maakt ook keer op keer duidelijk waarom. Want waar wij inmiddels door Europese wetgeving veel beter beschermd zijn, loopt de VS hier nog enorm achter. Hij zou dan ook graag willen dat de VS dat goede voorbeeld volgt.

Maar in het interview hieronder van de Amerikaanse zender ABC komt meer aan bod, ook de manier waarop beeldschermen ons leven beheersen komt voorbij. Niet voor niets, want dit is iets waar Apple recent voor onder vuur lag, voor Apple is het dus ook belangrijk om duidelijk te maken wat hun positie is ten opzichte van dit onderwerp.
