Dat Adobe vol inzet op de eigen Creative Cloud staat al een hele tijd als een paal boven water, dat bijvoorbeeld ook al duidelijk te zien bij de vooraankondiging van de volledige versie van Photoshop voor de iPad. Op zich staande versies van programma's zijn bij Adobe verleden tijd.

En dat is natuurlijk ook het geval bij Rush, de nieuwe montage-app van Adobe die op al je devices zal werken. Deze app werkt dus op zowel iDevices als Macs en Windows PC’s, en ondersteuning voor Android devices gaat ook komen. De nadruk in deze app ligt op het snel en makkelijk maken van montages, waarbij de desktop versie wat meer mogelijkheden biedt dan die op mobiele devices. Gebruik je Adobe's montageprogramma Premiere Pro al, dan is Rush een stuk aantrekkelijker. Niet alleen zit het dan in je abonnement, montages daarin gemaakt zijn ook in Premiere Pro te importeren en daarna te verwerken.
