Ik ben er nog niet verder ingedoken, maar heb al wat vraagtekens. Deze schermen werken sowieso niet in Retina mode, want "slechts" 140ppi. Maar, HiDPI is niet (exact) hetzelfde als Retina.

Ik herinner me wel iets met klein-formaat 2560x1440 schermen waar je niet de verschillende schalingsopties te zien kreeg in de macOS display settings GUI om tekst groter te krijgen. Waarschijnlijk is het zo iets, en gewoon niet goed (genoeg) getest door Apple omdat dit niet hun eigen standaard schermformaat is. Waarschijnlijk kan dit gefixed worden met een software-update.
