Wat heb ik geleerd uit Cyrano's laatste link?

Unix Terminal Airdrop command voor unsupported macs, zonder je hoed af te zetten, dus, beetje onbeleefd:

I have found that the TCP service exposed by each client is using an SSL connection. The server certificate seems to be linked to your Apple ID. You can find the certificate in the Keychain. A client certificate is also requested by the server. This is probably just the same Apple ID certificate from the other computer. You will have to experiment with this.

Wat denk ik dan? Ergens in je Macje is je Apple ID opgeslagen. Dat is nog zichtbaar voor Bonjour, ook al ben je niet aangesloten op Internet.
Maar je Apple ID zit er ergens wel mee tussen. En daarom ook iCloud, in zijn vaagste definitie.
Volgende stap is ook vervolgens op mijn unsupported Mavericks machine Airdrop in te roepen via een Terminal als er er recente Mac in de buurt is.

Ja, dat staat er. En dus? Dat gaat over de 'Contacts' mode, in de 'Everyone' mode heeft de icloud identity er niets mee te maken.
Cyrano, please! Stop eens met het verspreiden van al die vaagheden, halve waarheden, verwarrende informatie en pertinente onzin. Daar heeft niemand op dit forum iets aan. Flix en jaco123 zijn keer op keer helder en duidelijk over dit onderwerp, jij voegt alleen ruis toe. Een discussie is prima als dat tot nieuwe of betere inzichten leidt. Dat is bij jouw teksten (wederom) niet het geval.
Helemaal raar is het dat jij bij elke tegenspraak meent een persoonlijke sneer te moeten geven. Vind je dat zelf nou ook niet een beetje zielig?!
