Ik zag na de softwareupdate dat ik in de settings ook kan kiezen voor de optie Photo-import !!!
In het hoofdmenu staat dan een extra optie Photo Import, daarvoor kiezen geeft nu een leeg scherm met als kopje Photos!!
Krijgen we dan ook op oudere iPod de mogelijkheid Photo's te bewaren/beheren (bekijken in 4 grijstinten, neh) met de camera connector!
Zal mijn benieuwen.

De fotos komen in de map Photos in een iPod Photo, binnen deze map zijn er twee submappen Full Resolution en Thumbs.
Ik kwam wel tot de rare constatie dat er 4 files in de map thumbs staan terwijl er maar 2 foto's in mijn iPod zitten.
Ik ben aan het kijken of in kan zien of er ook foto's in het iPod menu herkend worden. Vaak kan dat alleen als ze benoemd worden volgens de 'regels' van de bedenker.
Edit: Wel opletten in de map Photos op de iPod staat nog een exec bestand Photo Database

iRow om 16:55, 24-02-2005Eind maart komt er een verloopje (30 euro) voor de 4e gen. iPods waar je je camera via de usb kabel op kan aansluiten, dus geen Belkin meer.
Geldt dit verloopje ook voor de 3e gen. iPods? Want die import functie is er bij mijn Ipod na de update ook bijgekomen?

In an interview with CNet News.com, Apple vice president, Greg Joswiak, described the camera connector as "a small white plastic device, similar in appearance to a small docking station, that has a cable for connecting to the iPod and a USB port for connecting to a camera." It will work with both the new iPod photos and with earlier photo player models, said Joswiak, who also heads Apple's iPod product marketing. "Pictures loaded onto an iPod directly will be able to display immediately on the iPod. But for the photos to be shown on a TV, the iPod Photo will need to be connected to a Mac or PC first.
