Testprogramma

Ik ben een beetje aan het overklokken gegaan van een oude G3. Maar ik wil hem een even testen of die goed blijft draaien, dus zoek ik een programma die voor b.v. een uur de cpu zwaar gaat belasten. Als dat goed, weet ik wel zeker dat hij het zal blijfen doen.

Folding@Home gebruikt alle beschikbare rekenkracht. Installeer het en je CPU doet nog wat nuttigs in de ongebruikte tijd.
Sluit meteen bij onze groep aan.

Aha, zoord van Seti@home. Dat zou ook kunnen ja. Maar 400 mhz op een G3 schiet denk ik niet veel op...

Maar het is wel een prima test.

Workstation: iMac 20" Core 2 Duo 2.16 GHZ, 2 GB ram, 250 GB HD, 256 MB VRAM

Alle kleine beetjes helpen Roman!
Ik heb zelf een iBook G3 als wireless router staan, als
ik niet thuis ben en 's nachts draait ie netjes SETI@home
Het gaat niet snel, maar iedere dag poept ie er toch mooi
een workunit uit.

Een flinke photoshopfile laten blurren is natuurlijk ook
een erg goede test

Nou dan draai ik wel seti@home. Wel de grafische versie, want die belast ook nog lekker de videokaart.

Draait Seti classic eigenlijk nog? Of moet ik nu Boinc gaan draaien????

Draai dan tenminste folding@home dan help je de medische wereld een beetje, ipv te zoeken naar buitenaardse wezenkes.
