Als je bij het verwijderen van files direct de mededeling krijgt dat 'de file onmiddellijk verwijderd wordt' met een 'Annuleer'- en 'Verwijder'-knop, klopt er iets niet met de privilegeinstellingen van de (verborgen) Trash-map van dat account.
De eenvoudigste oplossing is om de map (als admin) te verwijderen.
Bij opnieuw inloggen wordt direct de Trash-map opnieuw aangemaakt met de juiste privileges.:
Perform the following steps in the order specified:
<li>If the affected account is protected by FileVault, log in to the affected account, then switch to and log in to your Admin account via Fast User Switching. Otherwise, log in to your Admin account.
<li>Open Terminal (Utilities folder).
<Li>At the Terminal prompt, type one of the following commands:
If the affected account is: Your Admin account
Then type the Terminal command: sudo rm -rf ~/.Trash
If the affected account is: USERNAME account:
Then type the Terminal command: sudo rm -rf /Users/USERNAME/.Trash
where USERNAME is the short name of the affected account.
<Li>Press Return.
<Li>Type your Admin password when prompted, then press Return.
<Li>If the affected account is your Admin account, log out. If the affected account was another user account that is logged in via Fast User Switching, log out of that account.
<Li>Log in to the affected account. It will now have a new, working, and empty Trash.
