Hierbij dan op aandringen van sommigen van jullie, goed gedaan!!, mijn brief aan Tim Cook
Dear Mr Tim Cook
At april 6 i have happily bought the new iPad 6.
To my astonishment when waking up some weeks ago, there was a burst in my screen
The iPad was on the table when I went to sleep, it was still on the table when I woke up.
I asked my wife if she woke up that night, no, she did not
All I could think of maybe I had pushed too heavy, when cleaning the screen?
I went to your Apple store at the Leidseplein Amsterdam, and their first reaction was I had dropped it. So you call me a liar, I asked them?
I asked for the manager, at first according to him too I had dropped the iPad, after he changed to something had fallen on top of the screen.
But it was on the table before I went to sleep and still was when I woke up.
After 20minutes the manager told me he had a generous offer, at the price of 220€ I could get a new one.
It was, I believe in 1996 I have bought my first 'apple', a Performa. Since that moment I have had many other ones. And with success I have encouraged many a friend to say goodbye to Microsoft and get an Apple.
Before the iPad 6 I have had the iPad 2 and that one did indeed fall several times, but never no damage.
I have posted a thread on the forum of Macfreak.nl on this subject
https://www.macfreak.nl/ipad-algemeen/scherm-ipad-6/new/?topicseen#newI have received several reactions, mainly unbelievable the way the Apple store did react
And some people told me to directly contact you, so here my letter and my story.
I am disappointed the way your people have reacted about the damage to my iPad, I cannot understand this.
I am curious to learn the way you may solve this problem.
Kind Regards, Simon
Plus dan nog mijn adres, uiteraard, maar dat hoeft niet in deze groep
