Hoi,

Bij het verschijnen van Yosemite heb ik mijn iMac volledig opnieuw geïnstalleerd. Daarna enkel wat documenten en mijn iTunes - iPhoto bestanden terug gezet. Al mijn andere software heb ik opnieuw geïnstalleerd.

Wat mij nu al 4x heb gezien is dat mijn iMac spontaan gaat herstarten. Niet tijdens een bewerking ofzo maar wanneer ik er eventjes van weg ben dan zag ik hem afsluiten en opnieuw opstarten. Heel vreemd ...

Mijn iMac is een iMac (21,5-inch, eind 2012) 2,7 GHz Intel Core i5 zonder uitbreidingen.

Nog iemand dit probleem? Nee op dat moment was er geen stroomstoring of iets dergelijks ... alles in huis bleef normaal ...

Heb je al eens in het console gekeken of er een bepaalde melding is net voordat de computer herstart?

Dit krijg ik als ik 'wake' opzoek in console, versta er niet zoveel van ...

Wake is wakker worden (uit sluimerstand bv). Zoek eens gericht op tijd of "boot", als je mazzel hebt zie je zelfs een "shutdown".

Ik zou een PRAM reset doen, en daarna een SMC reset.

Ik heb die stappen uitgevoerd .. hopelijk is het probleem van de baan  

Staat er eigenlijk iets in mijn log wat niet 'normaal' is?

Hehe, nee sorry, wat ik bedoelde is dat je moet zoeken naar "boot" en dan krijg je bv dit resultaat;

Als je dan die tijd in de gaten houdt en iets 'ervoor' gaat kijken dan zie je soms een aanleiding voor een herstart.
