Ik probeer via mijn éné mac op kantoor in te loggen op mijn mac thuis en vice versa. Ik doe dit door het commando Finder/ga/verbind me server. Hier vul ik dan het ipadres in van de mac waarmee ik wil communiceren.

ik krijg steeds de foutmelding "verbinden met afp://ipadres?. Er heeft zich een fout voorgedaan (fout = - 36).

Wat is dit in hemelsnaam en wat eraan te doen?
Pingen lukt wel,dus er is blijkbaar toch wel contact ?

Staat persoonlijke bestandserver aangevinkt in Samengebruik (systeemvoorkeuren) op de aangevraagde Apple ?

Ja. Dat staat allemaal aan en de firewall staat af.

Die melding krijg ik ook vaak als ik met een andere computer Mac/PC wil verbinden. Als iemand er een oplossing voor heeft hoor ik het graag.

ik heb de oplossing Lees dit:

To enable AppleTalk on the AFP server:

1) Open up NetInfo Manager in /Applications/Utilities/

2) Authenticate by clicking the lock, and entering your admin
username/password

3) Navigate through the hierarchy...from /, click config, then click
AppleFileServer, and a bunch of keys/values will appear in the bottom
area. Scroll down to the key that says "use_appletalk", and change the 0
to a 1. reg_AppleTalk should already be on, and that is probably why the
server is advertising ("-reg-istering?") as being AppleTalk, but not
working. Once I made this change, I was able to log into my iMac from my
IIci running a basic System 7.0.1 with AppleShare installed.

Et voila afp doet het Doe dit op beide Macs...
