ik heb per email antwoord gekregen van de logmein customer support:

de safari plugin werkt ook niet. Hier hun antwoord daarover:
Hello , By default, the Safari browser for the Snow Leopard operating system (Mac OS X 10.6) runs as a 64-bit application, which is not compatible with the LogMeIn plugin. In order to use the LogMeIn plugin for Mac with Snow Leopard, you will need to run Safari in a 32-bit mode. To make Safari run in 32-bit mode, please do the following:
In Finder, go to Applications and right-click (or Control-click) on Safari.
In the context menu click "Get Info".
In the General section of the Info window, turn on "Open in 32-bit mode". Do not turn on "Open using Rosetta"
Restart Safari. LogMeIn should now work.
Note:
This change will cause all browser plugin applications to run in 32-bit mode in Safari.
Note:
The current version of LogMeIn Free can be installed on a Host computer running OS X Snow Leopard.
I hope this helps. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.
