De Apple Watch iOS nog niet uitgekomen, komende maandag horen we daar meer over tijdens het Special Event. De Apple Watch zelf komt in april uit, we weten alleen nog niet op welke datum.

Dat de Apple Watch nog niet uit is gekomen was geen belemmering voor iF Design Awards, want die hebben de gouden Design Award voor 2015 al aan de Apple Watch gegeven. Hieronder de tekst van hun website, met daaronder  het juryrapport:

The Apple Watch scores highly for each design detail and is an altogether extraordinary piece of design. For us, it is already an icon.

Wat is eigenlijk de prestige van een iF Design Award? Is dat een soort Nobelprijs of is het een onbetekenend clupje dat op de merknaam Apple wil meeliften?
