Equalizer. First of all, an equalizer setting that is optimized for sonic quality, as described in my conclusions sections. It would be nice to have equalizer settings that are optimized for particular headphones. Each headphone has some colorations, and therefore it might be nice if the iPod can compensate for that. Being able to load your own equalizer settings would be great as well.
Mounting bug. In some cases the iPod doesn't mount anymore (e.g. when I switched user account under OS-X). The only solution is to re-boot. Yes, re-boot. There goes my uptime high-score!!! It might also be nice to set/reset the desktop mount feature on the iPod, instead of via iTunes.
Ehm?
Mac vs. PC. I would also like to use the iPod to exchange files from my PC at work and my Mac at home. It is completely unclear how to manage. The HFS+ and FAT32 format seem to be incompatible, especially if I want to use my Mac as master of all the music stuff. The documentation is not helpful, and Apple's site doesn't provide info on this.
