Adobe has moved to decline previous reports that it will ship its long-awaited Creative Suite 3 on 27 March.
The company says that while it will be holding a bells-and-whistles global launch event in New York City on that date, the actual software won't ship.
The company says Adobe CS3 will ship "later in spring".
It's not all bad news: the company will demonstrate the products and features that make up the suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Adobe Bridge.
Some versions of the software suite will also include Acrobat, GoLive and Dreamweaver, the company confirmed.
