Recent lanceerde Apple het App Store Small Business Program, een programma dat bij kleine ontwikkelaars natuurlijk op veel enthousiasme kan rekenen: voor alle ontwikkelaars die minder dan een miljoen dollar per jaar verdienen wordt het ingehouden percentage gehalveerd naar vijftien procent.

Na dat besluit kwamen er bij Apple natuurlijk heel veel enthousiaste reacties binnen van ontwikkelaars, in Cupertino hebben ze daar nu een aantal van gepubliceerd in dit persbericht. Daarin vinden we natuurlijk niet de partijen die al een tijd bezwaren maken tegen Apple’s aanpak, want die maken allemaal zonder uitzondering (veel) meer winst dan een miljoen dollar per jaar.
