Maar als er straks allemaal third-party widgets zijn, hoe zit het dan met de privacy? Ik bedoel: hoe weet je dan of zo'n widget door de maker niet wordt aangewend voor allerlei andere doeleinden?
Ik snap niet helemaal het verschil tussen een app en een widget.Wat is nou het voordeel van een widget?

.. als je de tracking knop op “uit” hebt laten staan vragen de apps dan niet of ze mogen tracken, of tracken ze dan niet?
De enig mogelijke echte bescherming tegen dit soort praktijken is allerlei programma's helemaal niet gebruiken.
