Meest opvallend: Lunar Lake wordt gemaakt in de TSMC fabriek.

During the Tech Tour, Intel disclosed numerous facets of Lunar Lake, including their new P-Core design codenamed Lion Cove and a new wave of E-cores that are a bit more like Meteor Lake's pioneering Low Power Island E-Cores. Also disclosed was the Intel NPU 4, which Intel claims delivers up to 48 TOPS, surpassing Microsoft's Copilot+ requirements for the new age of AI PCs.

Interessant om te zien hoe iedereen hard bezig is om op zijn minst bij Apple langszij te komen.

Waarbij de ironie dat Intel op bijna alle vlakken Apple nu navolgt (zoals geheugen in de SoC) ons natuurlijk niet ontgaat.   

Intel heeft z'n ontwerp meer modulair gemaakt zodat de chips ook bij anderen kunnen worden gemaakt. Bijvoorbeeld bij de beste chipbakker voor snelle en zuinige chips.

Nog even en alles van Windows draait ook op ARM.
Dat zou ik heel fijn vinden, want dan komt Bootcamp wellicht terug.
