Ineens werkt 1Password niet, ik heb vervolgens een e-mailbericht gestuurd naar hun support; en kreeg onderstaande antwoord:
I apologise for this. There was an issue that affected all copies of 1Password 6.5.3 yesterday. While our developers were fast to jump onto this and resolve it by releasing a new version of 1Password for Mac we are sorry that it happened at all. To resolve the issue can you manually download the new version from our download page at AgileBits Download page (https://agilebits.com/downloads) and run the installer. This will install version 6.5.5 over the old one and should resolve the problem. If it doesn't resolve it instantly can you try restarting the Mac and then launching 1Password.If you're still experiencing issues after this I'd like to request a diagnostic report please, this link will guide you through the steps.

Na het opnieuw installeren van de nieuwe versie -desktop versie-, heb ik de extensie in Safari eerst verwijderd en vervolgens weer gedownload >> Safari >> Safari-extensies >> klikken op 1 Passwoord >> installeren.
Nu werkt 1Password als voorheen.
