Weet iemand of de Sony Camcorder: Sony DCR-HC42 compatibel is met FCP?

Ik overweeg deze camera te kopen, mede omdat ik dan het dockingstation vast aan de MAC kan laten.
De camera moet echter wel via FCP te bedienen zijn.

Iemand een idee?? Andere suggesties voor een camera rond de €800,-??

Toch nog even op internet geprobeerd het antwoord te vinden en kwam onderstaande tegen:

While this camera seems to be a great value, it is apparently not compatiible with iMovie or Final Cut in OSX. Some users have been able to get it to work, but a quick search on the web (start with the reviews on the Apple site) will show that many are unable to import video into these applications. I'm an experienced Mac and miniDV user, and no solution I tried was successful. I will be exchanging the camera. "
