En start eens op met de Shift-toets ingedrukt (Safe Boot) om daarna weer 'gewoon' te herstarten.

Ik raad twee dingen aan, de eerste een update waarvan bekend is dat die Kernel Panics kan geven, de tweede omdat die helpt bij caches, ook bij het afsluiten.

En zoals macqintosh al schrijft: de 'patient' geeft ook wel erg weinig informatie!

Ik denk dat waldonk dat al gebruikt.

Dat was een tijdje geleden nog een oplossing, maar ik weet niet of dat nog op gaat (ik dacht dat Google ook met Flash in Chrome wilde stoppen).

Flash is zo lek als een mandje, vandaar. En Java ook liever niet, tenzij persé nodig. Beide zijn veiligheidsrisico.
