Beetje obligaat, maar heb je de Mac al eens herstart ná dat toewijzen?

Ja en ik zie nu ook dat er bij vrijwel geen enkele tool ( geen idee hoe je zoiets noem ) een symbool staat? Dus bij VLC, Deluge etc. Bij MP4 staat een quicktime symbool terwijl die automatisch wordt geopend met VLC?

Sleep ik een file naar mijn bureaublad dan zie je wel VLC?

Sleep ik diezelfde file terug in de folder en dan zie is het een blanco symbool of de verkeerde App?
Bizar, dit heb dit nog nooit meegemaakt.

Volgens Apple support kwam het door VLC zelf dus die moest ik maar niet meer gebruiken.
Hun oplossing was schijf wissen en opnieuw installeren.
Alle bestaande MKV files omzetten met handbrake zodat ik het met quicktime kan afspelen.
Ach het is een oplossing laat ik het daar maar op houden.

Na zoeken op het www kwam ik dit tegen.

Schijf gewist en alles opnieuw gewist en geen mplayerX geïnstalleerd.

Alles ging goed totdat ik Office 2016 ( legaal ) installeerde.
Het systeem werd traag en liep voor geen meter. De ene crash na de ander.
Na flink wat Googlen las ik veel horrorverhalen overMS Office en Osx 10.11.5.

Opnieuw wissen en installeren dan maar.
Oude Office versie 2011 geïnstalleerd en het loopt als een zonnetje.

Ik vind het wel allemaal bizar omdat mijn macbook met dezelfde besturingssysteem (10.11.5) waar Office 2016 en mplayerX als een zonnetje draait.

En hoe log je in? Als admin? Zet ook eens de schrijbevoegdheden juist mocht je als "staff" inloggen.

Tevens had ik al opgeschreven suggesties al gedaan en telkens bij het installeren van 1 of beide programma's kreeg ik een blanco folder van Vlc.
Nu niet weer alles werkt zoals het hoort en het is genieten.

Desalniettemin bedankt voor de reacties.
